yvoire (FR)/ lake geneva

escaping a rainy chambéry, we headed north-east to lake geneva, otherwise known as lac léman. we started the "swiss tour" on the french side, with yvoire. noted as one of the most beautiful villages in france. it's a lovely 14th century medival village, littered with bright flowers...and of course, tourists. we meandered through thonon-les-bains and evian before going into switzerland.
