there is something wonderful with waking up to the growl of the atlantic and the saltiness of the air penetrating your skin.
les sables d'olonne was home for the past few days. this consisted of some serious french-immersion in the lacour family, endless conversations about nothing important (nevertheless extremely hilarious) and long walks along the rugged coastline.
seb joined us for the weekend and we celebrated his rather brilliant mark at a fantastic restaurant called "le bungalow".
