what a way to spend a sunday! the day was spent picnic-ing and diving into annecy lake when the temperature rose too high. dinner was spent in candlelight (as it was rather warm) with a lovely bottle of anrgentian syrah.
before the arrival of margs and pete, we joined seb's collegue for a walk in the bauge mountains. it was beautiful and not too hot yet when we arrived at the plateau. in one of the pics, you can see chambéry in the far distance...
an extremely eventful evening...the concert went on hold for the footie viewing. rather impressive, i thought. the crowd went wild when anthing happened, there were even women dressed in french flags, firemen sneakily seated in the trees (w a perfect view, no doubt) and of course, there was the half-time discussion btwn seb and lam. somehow, i don't think they anticipated zidane's action?!
i thought this was rather amusing. the dude in front of us went all out...drinking beer from 5pm, showing off not only his mini, but his monster french flag, too. vive la france!
